Treatment
Choices:
The Women's Cancer Resource Center will be closing it's doors, hopefully
temporarily, effective August 18, 2006 due to lack of finances. This sad news has
been sudden for all of us connected to the Center. WCRC hopes to restructure
and reopen sometime in the future. Howard Bell at Pathways has generously
welcomed the Treatment Choices Support Group in the interim to meet at the usual time (1st and 3rd Mondays 5:00 to 7:00 pm). Pathways is a
beautiful, scent-free facility and has been a safe nurturing
space for many during their experience with cancer located in Uptown, one block south of Lake Street at 3115 Hennepin Ave S.
There is a small parking lot behind the building or parking on the street.. WCRC was founded by a group
of gutsy, wonderful women. No wonder that it has been a success for so many
years. The healing wisdom we carry is within and will always continue no matter
where we meet. This web site will not be updated until WCRC reopens. To
ensure the meeting time is correct please call Pathways at 612-822-9061 or email Patricia Ward at
pa1350@aol.com. Wishing you peace and healing.
