 |
|
The power of touch is the power to heal
By allowing ourselves to receive touch and caring
from another person, we open ourselves to healing. This caring helps us get back in touch
with our bodies during or after cancer treatment, so that we may regain a sense of
integration, peacefulness and trust in ourselves. In recognition of the amazing power of
human touch, WCRC sponsors free massage and bodywork that includes a variety of bodywork modalities,
for women currently undergoing cancer treatment. All providers are trained professionals
who volunteer their services. Locations are at providers' offices throughout the
metropolitan area. Call WCRC for referrals and information. |
Are you a massage therapist with a big heart?
We are looking for more bodywork practitioners to volunteer for this program.
Therapists may see one or more clients per month at their office.
